Mark Foley Extends Stay
Advocate.com tells us that: 
"Former Florida congressman Mark Foley, who resigned over sexually explicit messages sent to male congressional pages, is remaining in treatment for alcoholism beyond his initial 30-day stay, his attorney said Wednesday."Will he be out in time to vote on November 7? ¶ 11/02/2006 01:20:00 AM

Haahaaa. Happy belated birthday to grandma Mable. PS my scout is finishing his eagle project right now and will be awarded his Eagle in the spring.
I wonder if Mr Foley has found a new "friend" in treatment?

Lol, I don't know what to say to that. Interesting how easy it is for politicians to blame everything on drinking/drugs, regardless of what they did! Our tax collector in Tampa was inappropriately fondling a lady at a local restauraunt, and he immediatly blamed drinking as the problem... and how he was going to fix it. I have yet to see him in a meeting...
I always ended up enjoying my rehab centers, and yeah, usually had a crush on someone.
Anyway, thirty days, that's not very long. I finally got myself into a four month residential treatment center and the desire to drink didn't really leave me even after that!
So, after this I suggest Foley look into the Oxford Houses in his area. I credit Oxford for my year and a half, and I no longer have a desire to drink. (yikes, I was a hard case).
