O.K. Now I Am Being Judgmental
I need to go to some other meetings while this soap opera plays out between my friend, her newcomer girlfriend and the girlfriend's husband. Last night the two women and I were at the same meeting. They sat next to each other being very careful not to look like they were dating.

The meeting was on step ten. My friend talked for four or five minutes on the importance of step ten in her life. All the while she was talking, I am thinking, You Are So Full of Shit. I would call my sponsor and talk about it but, she is my sponsor.

Anyhow, the advice that you folks gave me was right. I have told her my feelings and concerns now, I need to hold her at arms length while waiting for the crash. Geez, I am grateful to be me today.

Hey there, just checking in! Thanks for the comment!

Hey, girl. Hang in there and stay strong. Maybe you should get a new sponsor, though(??).

I know what you mean about listening to someone go on and on and the whole time you know they're being soooo hypocritical. It pisses me off, and I just want to tell everyone they're full of shit and what they're actually doing, but you can't do that, I guess.

Ooh, sticky situation. Just detatch and watch? I would be at a loss.

Damn, I didn't know she was your sponsor. (past tense, maybe?)

Holy shite! Good for you to say your peace.

Detachment is something I am really focusing on. Nothing wrong with backing away right now. Those are the types of situations that are quite frightening.

Maybe it's time to get a NEW sponsor...

When my last sponsor started acting out sexually like an addict and I took his inventory, I decided that he should not longer be my sponsor. I fired him.

Find a sponsor with better sobriety, for your own sobriety and well being.

We are all human, and sometimes we make mistakes, and sometimes we don't see how full of shit we really are. It is progress, not perfection that we strive for. We have to accept where people are at, at any given moment in time. Acceptance is the key.......

To all my problems...

As the meeting turns ~

I have a great post coming, something my sponsor mailed me. Alanon stuff ~ good stuff ~ stuff you could apply to your sit che A tion.
