Learning to Swim

I miss Paula Poundstone, I love her humour! That is actually in all honesty how I was taught to swim by my "crazy uncle Mike". He threw me in the lake in Florida (where there are GATORS!) and told me to swim. I did learn to swim. I now have an unfounded fear of "water monsters" in any body of water. Except the bath tub. I am safe there.
I might have to post about my crazy uncle Mike. Last I heard, he made it to our double A club.
